Telelink takes home Second Annual Award of Distinction

Telelink – The Call Centre Inc. takes home 2nd Annual Call Centre Award of Distinction

Telelink – The Call Centre Inc., of St. John’s, Newfoundland has been honoured with the prestigious second annual Call Centre Award of Distinction by the Canadian Call Management Association (CAM-X). The industry’s trade association for providers of call centre services, including Inbound Order Desk / Help Desk and Web Enabled customer assistance, recognized Telelink for their outstanding achievement at the 38th Annual Convention, held recently in Nassau, Bahamas.

The Call Centre Award of Distinction was created in response to overwhelming requests by call centres across Canada for a tool which could be used to measure the skills of their professional call centre agents.

After five months of testing, an independent panel of judges scored call-handling skills for “enhanced service” applications. The scoring criteria focuses attention on customer relationship management (CRM), courtesy, etiquette, and the use of proper call techniques, as well as response time and accuracy, which are the cornerstones of the Call Management Industry.

“The Call Centre Award of Distinction will be an instrumental marketing tool for Telelink, who obviously recognizes the importance of giving their customers’ callers a distinctly high level of service.” said CAM-X President Desiree Bombenon. “The Call Centre Award of Distinction is designed to test call handling skills in an unbiased manner with call agents never knowing when they are being tested for the best quality assurance.”

Now call centres across Canada have the opportunity to test the proficiency of their agents in native call centre applications. CAM-X congratulates the staff of Telelink – The Call Centre on their proven quality service to their customers.
